Advanced Diploma (Vocational) Course In 'IT, Networking & Cloud Computing (ADIT) -2022-24
National Skill training Institute(W), Noida is an Institute under Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India is conducting Advance Diploma course under the aegis of NCVT.
Two Year - Advanced Diploma in IT, Networking and Cloud Computing with IBM collaboration.
This Course has been developed with a clearly defined objective will help the students the most to enhance the employability and create industry pathways for students by helping them to start their own enterprise in cloud maintenance or computer hardware maintenance. Alternatively, students can apply for jobs in Industry as system technician, cloud developer, web designer and trainers (future skills).
The advanced diploma course on IT, Networking and Cloud Computing, which is NSQF Level 6 certified, is jointly offered by Directorate General of Training, MSDE and IBM India. With a humble start of 19 students in 2018, the program has grown to 550 students in 2020 @ 18 NSTIs. Presently, the course delivered at NSTIs is divided in two parts: with 18 months of teaching at the institute and 5 months of Internship opportunity in Industry premises to work apply the skills and practice them on real-world projects. Duration of the Course:
The course is for two years duration. In the first year there are five core modules each module is credit based and employable. Each module is of 320 hours and is very much independent. In second year, the trainee will be taking two elective modules out of three electives each of 320 hours and will be doing on the job training in Industry for 800 hours. In addition, the trainees will pick up employability skills for 160 hours.

Objective IT, Networking and Cloud course is very much essential in the current scenario due to a lot of demand in software industries where every industry is using cloud as base.
Combination of Subjects: In 1st year there are Five Core modules, in which following subjects are covered.
Combination of Subjects:In 2nd Year there are Three Electives where trainee has to select any of two elective modules.
Selection: Admission is done through All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) which is conducted centrally by DGT HQ. The link is http://nimionlineadmission.in Or http://dgt.gov.in
Eligibility for Admission: X/XII Std pass with NTC (NCVT certificate in relevant trade) of any one year or Two-year Trade with minimum 60% marks/First Class. or XII Std pass with minimum 60% marks/First Class. or X std pass with three-year diploma from recognized board and minimum 60% marks/First class in Diploma or Any regular degree from recognized university with minimum 60% marks/First class.
Stipend: A scholarship of Rs 3000/- per month (1st year and 7 months) & stipend of Rs. 15000/- per month (last 5 months) duration of On the Job Training (OJT) will be provided by IBM.
Admission & Award of Certificate: The minimum pass percent for Practical is 60% & minimum pass percent for Theory subjects 40%. For the purposes of determining the overall result, 25 percent weight is applied to the result of each module examination. After passing out the training programme, the trainee will be awarded Technical Diploma by NCVT which has worldwide recognition.
Placement:
IBM and its channel partners will provide the placement support to students post completion of the course, Placement will be based on overall performance and merit during the course.

Hostel : Hostel facilities are available for trainees on payment of Rs. 100/- per month as Hostel Rent and Rs. 100/- per semester as Hostel service charge. Hostel Caution money Rs. 125/- per session (Refundable) are also to be deposited for availing hostel. Messing charges extra to be borne by the candidates.
Games : Outdoor Games & Open Gym facilities are available.
Working Hours : From 09.00 am to 5.30 pm with half hour lunch break on all working days (Monday to Friday).
Attendance : Minimum 80% attendance is required to appear in the Final Trade Test to be held at the end of the course.
